This trip, in January / February of this year started and finished in Sapporo and included Hakodate, Otaru, Biei, Daisetsuzan, Akan, Rausu, Lake Tofutsu, Haboro. There was quite a lot of driving involved and conditions can be tricky in the winter so journey times are longer.

Hokkaido is beautiful in the winter and the rapidly changing conditions makes for more interesting photography.
